• Vytvoriť a spravovať testovaciu stratégiu a testovací plán pre projekt
• Definovať a koordinovať testovacie procesy (funkčné, integračné, systémové, regresné, výkonnostné testy)
• Organizovať a riadiť testovací tím 
• Spolupracovať s Business Analystami, vývojármi, architektmi a PM pri pochopení požiadaviek a príprave testovacích scenárov
• Definovať a spravovať testovacie prostredia a dáta
• Dohliadať na automatizované testovanie a rozhodovať, ktoré oblasti majú byť pokryté automatizáciou
• Nastavovať a sledovať metriky kvality
• Včas identifikovať a eskalovať riziká v oblasti kvality
• Zodpovednosť za akceptačné testovanie spolu s klientom

• Podpora a správa sieťových zariadení na úrovni L2, najmä Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
• Riešenie incidentov, analýza logov, eskalácia komplexnejších problémov na L3 tím alebo výrobcov
• Konfigurácia a údržba firewall pravidiel, VPN tunelov, IPS/IDS systémov
• Monitoring dostupnosti a výkonu siete, návrh zlepšení
• Spolupráca s internými a externými tímami pri riešení bezpečnostných udalostí a implementácii opatrení
• Dokumentácia zmien a riešení v ticketovacom systéme

Responsibilities:

• Leads the Turn-Up, Commissioning, and Testing of various Ciena Product Lines (OME6500, Waveservers, 6500 OLS, Reconfigurable Line System, RLS) in both Greenfield and In-Service Deployment environments of Submarine and Terrestrial DWDM projects;
• Remotely configure and commission Ciena 6500 RLS and Waveserver devices according to technical specifications and project requirements;
• Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues that occur during these activities, as well as during in-service;
• Deployment of Flex grid ROADM, OLS (6500 Reconfigurable Line System), and Spectrum Manager;
• Perform software upgrades, including pre-upgrade license validation, software package handling, and backup of system configurations;
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to plan and execute software updates with minimal network disruption;
• Manage power-up sequences and activation procedures remotely to ensure proper equipment initialization;
• Collaborate closely with onsite smart hands or installers, providing instructions and support for physical installations, cabling, and fiber connections;
• Validate network connectivity and optical parameters using provided system tools and monitor system performance;
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device configuration, commissioning, and power management in collaboration with engineering and support teams;
• Document all commissioning activities, configuration changes, and testing results;
• Support capacity changes, link calibration, fiber loss compensation, and connection validation as part of commissioning and network turn-up.

Requirements:

• University degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field;
• Prior experience in telecommunications network deployment or optical network;
• Experience of deploying, managing, and troubleshooting complex DWDM Optical Networks and resolving technical problems encountered during the deployment of green field networks and upgrades in existing networks;
• Hands-on Subsea networks deployments, working understanding of subsea OLS design and parameters that impact the performance;
• Experience of DWDM/CWDM Channel Addition, Node Insertions, Traffic Migrations, and HW/SW Upgrades;
• Experience in a multi-vendor environment is essential, including: Ciena, Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, ADVA, Nokia;
• Experience with photonic layer equipment configuration, power-up procedures, and commissioning workflows;
• Familiarity with automation tools, network management software, and troubleshooting optical transport systems;
• Ability to effectively interact with onsite personnel remotely to confirm and support installation activities;
• Understanding of fiber optic connectivity, optical power measurements, and basic network protocols;
• Knowledge of zero-touch provisioning (ZTP) and optical link calibration is a plus;
• Fluent English (verbal and written) is essential;
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment;
• Effective communication skills to coordinate remote commissioning and local support efforts;
• Working hours:  USA coverage time (15:00–00:00 EEST).

• Take ownership of build and deployment pipelines across our JavaScript monorepo
• Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with a focus on monorepo-specific best practices (e.g., selective builds, caching, versioning, etc.)
• Define and automate build, test, and deployment processes for local development, staging, and production environments
• Prepare deployment machines and infrastructure, including system configuration, package installation, and environment setup
• Work with IoT devices running Linux-based systems (e.g., Raspberry Pi or similar), managing provisioning, updates, and remote access
• Collaborate closely with the system architect and development team to ensure DevOps best practices are embedded into our workflow
• Take initiative and make technically sound decisions backed by experience and reasoning
• Help define and implement test automation frameworks and integrate them into the CI/CD process
