DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Native team and help improve how we build and deploy infrastructure landing zones. This role offers great learning opportunities as you'll work with our system architect to develop infrastructure and CI/CD processes. We're seeking someone with foundational DevOps experience who is eager to grow and adapt across different technologies and platforms.
Our focus is aimed at infrastructure layer (virtualization, Kubernetes, networking) but we are also touching the application layer when necessary (e.g. app code security).
All seniority levels are eligible.
What you'll do:
- Help build and maintain automated pipelines
- Assist in setting up CI/CD processes
- Help to review, configure and automate existing procedures regardless the target platform (public cloud, Kubernetes …)
- Collaborate with our team to learn and implement DevOps best practices
- Contribute ideas and solutions as you grow in the role
- Support test automation integration into our processes – quality automation
- Support security automation – SAST, DAST, 3rd parties’ solutions
What we're looking for:
- Knowledge of at least one public/private cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP. Kubernetes OpenShift, Tanzu …)
- Linux knowledge - you should be comfortable with command line and basic system administration
- Some experience with CI/CD concepts (any platform is fine - GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.) or just a mindset of “automate it”
- Willingness to learn deployment automation and infrastructure tools
- Scripting and/or programming experience is a must
- Good communication skills and ability to ask questions and learn from the team
- Curiosity and adaptability - we value someone who enjoys learning new technologies
- Team collaboration mindset
- Professional proficiency in Slovak or Czech, and at least B1 level in English is required.
