We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Installation Technician to join our client’s Network Installation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects across Europe, contributing to the deployment of cutting-edge IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

- Adding, installing, or removing hardware and cabling of common system and network devices independently, following instructions;
- Disconnecting A/C power on devices and customer PDU/output;
- Checking the status and functionality, performing diagnostics and analysis according to technical and drawing documentation;
- Resolving discrepancies with technical and drawing documentation and recording changes;
- Adhering to technical and technological procedures, occupational safety and health regulations, and fire protection regulations;
- Continuous learning according to customer needs;
- Providing status updates and communicating with the Project Manager;
- Travel across Europe to install, add, or remove equipment at customer sites.

Requirements:
 
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- 3-5 years of experience in network infrastructure installations;
- Rack & stack experience – installing devices into racks in data centers, preferably network devices (routers, switches);
- Experience with device configuration – initial installation of new devices so the customer can remotely access them;
- Experience with optical cables;
- Structured cabling – connecting devices to data and power distributions;
- Technical thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to perform assigned work despite obstacles;
- Adherence to producers- following technical regulations and installation manuals, and cable management. etc.
- Strong communication skills – ability to communicate on-site with customers and Project Managers, conveying important information;
- Valid driver’s license (Category B);
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
