The project began as part of Mondelēz International’s broader initiative to advance its digital journey. The project kicked off with a comprehensive audit and in-depth analysis in the pilot plant. This included photographic records, detailed connection diagrams, verification of interconnections, and reviews of switch configurations. A key part of this process was a proactive security audit to ensure the robustness of future-ready architectures.

The outcome was a clear, end-to-end visualization of the network, forming a strong foundation for scalable digital solutions. Building on this success, the collaboration has since expanded to additional sites across Europe, supporting Mondelēz’s long-term digital agenda. Following the initial pilot, over 50 plants across Europe have now been assessed.
