SOC IT Project Manager

Soitron is currently expanding Project Management Department and so we are looking for a new colleague who will join our team and focus on our cybersecurity projects.

• Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, overseeing projects from initiation to closure.

• Lead and coordinate project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, providing guidance and direction to ensure project objectives are met at each stage.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, aligning them with organizational objectives.

• Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues to prevent potential roadblocks.

• Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and report on project status to stakeholders regularly.

• Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource utilization effectively.

• Foster strong communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and vendors.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and project management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

• Evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies, integrating emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Create project reports

• Administrative work needed for projects

Personality assumptions and skills

• Proven experience (min.2 years) in IT project management, overseeing medium to complex technology projects from initiation to completion.

• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Tempo).

• Excellent leadership, communication, time management and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, exhibits enthusiasm, and fosters a constructive approach to challenges.

• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

• General Project Methodology knowledge (Project Management Institute (PMI), Prince2, IPMA)

• Prince2, PMP or IPMA certification preferable

• Motivation and strong personal attitude

• Slovak and English is a must

Previous experience with managing cybersecurity projects is nice to have
