Naučiť účastníkov inštalovať a spravovať Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), vytvárať a spravovať resource groups a realizovať troubleshooting VCS.

- Training syllabus
- Koncepcia a súčasti VCS, klastrová komunikácia. Inštalácia VCS, konfiguračné súbory jednotlivých súčastí klastra.
- Konfigurácia klastra, operácie na klastri, klastrových resourcoch a resource grupách, vytváranie závislostí medzi resourcami a resource groups.
- Príprava aplikácií pre klaster, príprava dátových úložísk pomocou VxVM.
- Konfigurácia klastrových aplikácií ako napr. NFS, DNS, Oracle DB a Clusterware (Grid), setup zdieľaného storage pomocou Veritas Volume Managera a Cluster Filesystému.
- Implementácia I/O Fencing mechanizmu ako ochrany dát.
