Bratislava, 12 July 2012 – Slovak IT systems integrator Soitron, a.s. and Turkish systems integrator Sekom A.S. announced today that they have reached an agreement to establish a joint venture through Soitron acquiring a 51% stake in Sekom. The partnership is effective 4 July 2012, and is a result of extensive joint discussions about strategic cooperation. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

A new Sekom Board of Directors was appointed as a result of the acquisition process. No personal changes are planned in current Sekom management, organizational or employee structure. In the near future, this strategic step will allow clients of both companies to benefit from an expanded product portfolio, professional services in new areas and better customer care.
