Deloitte, an international consulting firm, announced the results of the 10th annual Top 50 Fastest Growing Technology Companies (Technology Fast 50). Soitron ranked 12th overall and 3rd in the Big Five category. The Big Five category considers only firms with exceptional rate of growth in the 2004 – 2008 period.
The rankings include ITC companies from 13 countries in Central Europe: Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Slovenia, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Serbia, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Estonia. The rankings are based on revenue growth within a five-year period. Of all 50 companies, only 4 are from Slovakia.
Of all Slovak companies, Soitron finished second with the 880% rate of growth, compared to ESET’s 951%. No other Slovak company was included in the Big Five category.
